Idea for League Fees/Funds (HL)

This is not my idea, but someone said in a Discord that they would like to see RGL Funds go to paid anti-cheat staff instead of a prize-pool. I could not agree more.
So I pose this question to you: If you did not have the option for prize-pool money for Highlander, where would YOU like to see RGL funds go to?

Professional marketing and production. The more people aware of the league, more people, greater ability to get sponsors at higher price-points, more money for league for paid admins; which means full time staff; better league that feeds the players that are already here; growing scene and bigger prizepools.
Its a feedback loop at the end of the day that should be fed to grow the scene into something similar to what the smash or AOE community has.
Realistically though, the playerbase won’t do this. I just need to look at the time this was brought up in a survey and people immediately backtracked once the results were announced.

Mothership start with regularly uploaded vods to YouTube. Extv had them up every Tuesday.

I am not making that suggestion in order to criticize our current production; I am appreciative of the what the current team does.
Just moreso making the point that a team of paid professionals would be the most equitable way to go about spending money to grow the scene.

Mothership it wasn’t direct criticism but if you feel like it was maybe it should. YouTube was/is the door for casual fans to keep up with the seasons currently it’s impossible and ruins any potential newbie engagement. Extv uploading vods is the very reason how I found out about comp and why i decided to try it out. Want to grow the base start with the baby steps.
That’s not even counting the missed revenue.

In my professional opinion, vod uploading is basic level stuff; hence why I view that as a criticism. If we are failing at the basic aspects of production then that brings into question the bigger picture things that are hugely important.
You do bring up a good point with YouTube however. Its one of the reasons I moved my church to YouTube for our livestreams. Twitch is not how people get into tf2; YouTube is a much better platform to grow your audience and to take advantage of their algorithms. Not to mention the fact that the moment streams are done on YouTube; the vod is immediately available at full quality.
