delay week 3 match

please do not have a scheduled match on valentine’s day :)
also lan is the weekend before, match on monday may interfere with travel plans, scrimming availability etc
quality of matches will be way down and number of ringers/forfeits will be way up for both reasons. please consider moving the season back 1 week for all the lovers and hardcore gamers out here

IIRC, nyxi is the only HL player that is going to the 6s California LAN. The event is technically not affiliated with RGL either.

If I recall correctly, I do not believe we have ever skipped a week due to Valentines Day. Also as exa stated, only 1 invite HL player is going to the LAN. So currently I don’t have any plans to delay the season.

to be fair, this is the first time it has been on a Monday since 2011 :)
in a related note, UGC did give a Valentine’s Day bye in season 3 at that time

It has been 11 years since Valentine’s day has been on a Monday, so RGL HL has never had a match day and a Valentine’s day coincide.
Also, that Sunday is Superbowl Sunday…probably not a whole lot of tf2 happening then either. You guys could make the “I have a significant other” and “I love football” crowds both happy :)
