RGL Discord for LAN-related discussions, announcements, and travel and lodging coordination.This article will be a quick update to communicate recent and new developments as we head closer to organizing a LAN for RGL Invite 6s Season 9 Playoffs in 2022.

Patriot’s Place WebsiteHelix eSports Patriots Place is a great location with many shopping stores, dining places, and activities around the venue which can be viewed in the link above. The venue will also have bleachers for spectators, as well as the main stage for a better viewing experience.
#anchor(Confirmed Dates and Structure of Tournament)
The RGL LAN will be scheduled to occur on the weekend of August 6th to August 7th (Saturday and Sunday). This will be three weeks after the regular season to allow the playoff teams to prepare by booking flights and hotels. As it is being held on a weekend, it will be a two-day event. Day 1 will cover the first round and semifinals of playoffs. Day 2 will cover the lower bracket finals and grand finals.

To help fund the LAN, we are launching new t-shirt designs, along with NEW exclusive stickers and pins! Each merch item will be worth a certain number of ‘assists’, which will be used to track donor perks, such as signed merch, posters, and more! Spectator passes will be sold at $20.00 at the venue and will be good for the weekend.
#anchor(PC and Peripherals)
32 Gaming PCs with monitors (headset, mouse, keyboard, and mouse pad provided to every setup as needed). Players are encouraged to bring their own peripherals. Players will be able to import a USB Flash Drive into the PC for custom configs and UI.

The cost of entry for Invite playoff teams will be free, including access to PCs during the entire two-day tournament. Spectator passes will be $20 for everyone else.

#anchor(RGL Disrupt-n-Draft Cup)
The Disrupt-n-Draft cup is a one-day cup featuring the top 4 Invite teams, showing a quick preview of the talent going to the inaugural RGL LAN! Viewers have a stake in this cup as well, having the ability to donate to influence the game. All proceeds will go towards the LAN fundraiser, which helps cover any extra costs incurred by both players and production.

Picking will be done in the following order:

Total of 6 matches, 1 map per match except for GFs which is a best of 3. The map pool will be the current [url=https://rgl.gg/?a=1606&r=40]Season 9 RGL map pool[/url]. Matches will be played with a modified RGL ruleset, where there will be 30-minute maps with a first-to-five format and a 5-minute round timer.

Quick PSA
If you plan on attending the Helix LAN, we suggest players and spectators get hotels and flights as soon as possible.
As the New England Patriots training camp is starting next week, this will likely will cause hotel rates to go up. Flights will get more expensive as the dates go by as well.
Draft Cup Conclusion
Thanks to all the players for participating in the event and everyone who came out to support the fundraiser.
We managed to raise $1,141.48 so far in the cup! Proceeds will go to help cover the expenses of the teams attending the LAN, as well as the production team.
