    Staff Changes

I, Constantly, will be taking WiLLmaTiC’s place as the Highlander Head Admin. I was RGL’s Open Moderator and Newcomer Admin, respectively, from Season 4 until Season 8. I temporarily stepped down after Season 8 but recently returned to RGL as the Amateur moderator. Although this will be a new challenge for me, I will do my best to move the format forward and support our community!

Alongside myself, we have 3 new additions to our team: Xenagos, asian, and JohhnyfromCali. We look forward to working with them to help our scene continue to grow. With WiLLmaTiC, wize, and ire leaving our team, we would like to thank them for their time and efforts spent volunteering, and we wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.

The new list of Highlander staff for Season 12 will be as follows:

    Division Admins:
    Invite: yogrrt
    Advanced: Joey Lemons
    Main: Spazz
    Intermediate: Icy
    Amateur: Icy
    Newcomer: Kitty

    Division Moderators:
    Advanced: JohhnyfromCali
    Main: vibeisveryo
    Intermediate: Xenagos
    Amateur: asian
    Newcomer: Jercer

The staff list is available to view on our website.

    Important Info for Invite Teams

Invite will have 8 spots this season, with at least one spot reserved for qualifier teams if needed. Placement of teams in qualifiers or one of the remaining spots will be up to admin discretion, but is largely determined by previous experience.

The regular season for Invite will span 7 weeks with an 8-team round robin.
Invite playoffs will be played as a 4-team double-elimination.

Before the season starts, your division admin will invite you to a discussion group for Invite team leaders. The team leader listed on the roster will be both the point of contact and the one invited to the discussion group to ensure the meeting isn’t overly crowded. If the team leader does not wish to attend, an appointed teammate must take their place.

Qualifiers will be run from May 21st through May 23rd as a 4-team round robin. Your admin will keep in touch to ensure that any questions regarding scheduling are answered. As stated above, please contact your division admin if your team would like to be considered for Qualifiers. Teams will be notified if they are in Qualifiers once registration closes; this is to make sure no teams form at the last minute.

Invite Prize Money Distribution and Team Fees (in USD)

Team Fees: $153 ($17 per starter)
    1st place will receive $516
    2nd place will receive $350
    3rd place will receive $158

How to Find a Team to Join

Finding a team is not hard, but it does require you to put in a little effort.

    Players New to Competitive:

We encourage you to make a post in the website’s [Looking For Team (LFT) section]( text) and also post in our Discord server’s #looking-for-team-hl channel.

You should also contact leaders of teams who need a player. You can find them listed in the Teams Looking for Players (LFP) section and also the LFP section of our Discord server’s #looking-for-player-hl channel.

    Players Experienced in Competitive:

We particularly encourage you to make a thread on the RGL HL LFT forums section. This will allow you to advertise yourself to higher-profile teams.

Browsing the LFP section of the forums will also present you with many teams that are looking to recruit players.

  • I apologize for the delay, I am still getting used to this new position. If it seems like I missed a topic, don’t worry! I am currently working on an article that will likely cover your concerns
