there is certainly a way to do that
the DL i got for the original class icons only gives the vtf, so in order for it to work you’d have to get the vmts from the tf2 files themselves. you’d have to open tf2_misc_dir.vpk with gcfscape, find the vmts, extract, and then get to pointing them each to /vgui/replay/thumbnails/class_portraits/ or whatever.
i might eventually make that at some point, but won’t be anytime soon

Proot was fine where it’s at. I would recommend removing the s4rr spot, and the hole in house. I love this map, but Sniper was already strong enough on the previous version with how easy it was to rotate between different angles + how small the map was (and still is).

Also someone complained about having frame drops on the new version, so maybe some more optimization improvements are in order .

in addition to the above, I should say, in a more on-topic vain than above, adding people to the team specifically because of their good reputation, connections, ect has been something we’ve considered in the past, but not something that’s gone far in practice. In case you guys didnt want to read allthat, i’ll put the final paragraph here for easy reading:

Final thoughts, and to get off the tangent train and back on track with your initial comments to me, it’s true that PUG runners will be more or less obsolete under the pug site framework. While there are some wacky ideas I can’t talk about because they go over my head, I can say that because the pug site presents a fundamental paradigm shift in the needs of the pug team some changes in roles and responsibilities will be conducive to keeping the ship running. We have not decided what exactly those changes will look like, I’m interested in the idea of having staff specifically dedicated to community outreach, and am interested in hearing proposals from any takers as to what exactly that could look like. Keep in mind that because these pugs are open to everyone in order to facilitate new player involvement any plan to have community outreach/representation will have to allow for reps from both sides of the skill and experience perspectives. I will say, while I’m not a fan of the status quo if it’s not the best current solution, I don’t have final say over absolutely everything that goes on in RGL pugs, please don’t decide for yourself a certain way of doing things is the only way of doing things, you’ll be setting yourself up for disappointment.

I wanted to announce the very early alpha of canyon.tf.

This site is mostly going to be used to help streamers and leagues engage with their communities.
Currently, its main focus is the upcoming EU vs. NA Highlander match,
After a simple Steam login, you are able to vote for the class matchups and predict the performances for the direct class matchups (pyro vs. pyro, pocket scout vs. pocket scout)

At the end of the match, we will use the equations as the result of millions of logs to rate the actual performance differences between matchups.

I am excited for this project to grow and become something that is used to support casts as well as something fun for the community to interact with.

virgil, Scream, heks, and Fleskore have stepped down from their positions on the 6s Staff team. camp3r will be inactive until further notice to focus on real life responsibilities.

Constantly and asian will be stepping down from their positions on the HL Staff team.

[1006.2.5] - Sandbagging and Class Restrictions has been updated to specify the new maximum capacity of class-restricted players for both 6s and HL (previously 6 in HL and 4 in 6s). In 6s, sniper now counts to this total limit.

[1008.8] - Score Submission has been updated to clarify the responsibility of posting the match log and results fall on the team providing the match server.

[1009.4.3] - Default Ringers has been updated to clarify that players remain eligible to default ring in a division that they were in as long as they do not roster on a team in a higher division.

[1008.9] - Pauses has been updated to clarify that using the “repause” command does not count towards the number of pauses initiated in a half. An additional clarification has been added to clarify that either team can unpause, but the other team must be notified before the unpause.
