- Removed perch point inside last
- Reduced size of awning outside last slightly
- Fixed up some texture misalignments
- Raised no build sign to match shadows better
- May or may not have added more ducks

A quick note: if anyone knows about any bugs or clipping issues and would like it fixed, post about it below. I’m planning on making a quick update in a few weeks time to address some issues I know about, which will likely be the final update Vigil sees.

The biggest “bug” with vigil right now in my opinion is the lighting at big door on last which can impact svs outcomes. Currently defense snipers with shadows turned on are favored over offense snipers due to how much their shadows extend through big door. Makes slow peeking around the corner more difficult
Here is how far the shadows extend and essentially how much time the defense sniper has to react.
My proposition is, assuming the lighting source is from the sun, extend the building outside the map to block shadows on that side of big door, or adjust the lighting source
Could be a non-issue, but if we’re going for the final release, why not optimize the detail, you know?

I can have a look into that for sure. No promises for changes to geo that are that big, but I can play around with some ideas. -

- Many clipping changes around the map to improve splash damage and movement along surfaces
- Fixed visible nodraws
- Fixed some prop lighting
- Added some extra detail in flank route under C
- Removed dynamic shadows outside big door of D to prevent red sniper having a one-sided advantage
- Changed all health and ammo patches to models so they show for everyone using low graphics configs
