#anchor(Hello and Good morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening & Good Night)
Communication is one of the most vital skills you can have in our competitive environment along with many other sports within the field. Without communication, you’re losing the means of being able to form connections among colleagues, friends, and family. Within our competitive bubble, you wouldn’t have the ability to make a decisive call that breaks a long stalemate, setting a collapse after an über-trade, sending your flank behind to a pinch and the list keeps going.
One thing that RGL could improve on with the player base as a whole is communication. In the past, RGL hasn’t elaborated on the tools we use for scheduling, results from surveys, and how they’ll be used effectively for that upcoming season, why restrictions seem to change every other season, how we incorporate/utilize the feedback players give us from meetings and so much more that needs to be touched upon.
Being one of the head-admin of sixes, I want to bridge a path towards better communication between RGL and the general player base. When I was a player before, I’d get frustrated myself because of the lack of communication RGL had whenever things were still being figured out or developed behind the scenes. I do not want the same trend to continue as the year progresses. We may be volunteers, but being a volunteer shouldn’t equate to bad leadership or poor communication skills in any matter.
A simple Q&A thread isn’t going to address all the problems and concerns people currently have with RGL, nor will it feel genuine to you all who are playing with the league. Plus an article full of FAQs only cover little information.
That being said Arcadia, Camp3r, and Myself (if more people slide through ill add them/update the names here) would like to go in-depth about anything that has to deal with sixes, the tools we use, the decisions that’re brought up go is and how they’re dealt with, how the scheduler works and what precisely is it, what specifically do division admins do, what does a head admin do, how the players can get their voice out there and more.
For this relationship to work between staff and the player base, communication is needed to ensure a path where if a problem or concern does (and it will) present itself it can be talked about constructively, but on a level where it’s personal rather than being treated like an individual who’s just speaking into the void.
This will be hosted on the RGL’s twitch channel on the 24th of June, time 6:30 PM EST. I’ll update it as we talked about it throughout this week.
If you have any questions you want to be answered you can for sure drop them in this thread, since I’ll be collecting the questions through TFTV, RGL Fourms, dms’s and more. Only things that won’t be answered are anything to deal with the report committee cases and anti-cheat cases as they are more sensitive to the matter.
Thank you for reading this and I appreciate you all.

I’m also looking to show up if possible in case people have any HL-related questions and such. I can’t guarantee I’ll be there due to my schedule, but I’ll try my best!
