LFT Main Spy S15
-
Hello everyone!
Haven’t done these in a long time. You might know me as a TL for EggSaladSandwiches for the past 4 seasons. I haven’t really rung around, nor have I really played for any other team. My focus has been my team and my team alone. I’ve been thinking that it’s probably time to move onto greener pastures.
I am a very passionate player and I truly believe that I have the potential to play for some of you. For 5 seasons now I’ve been mentoring with multitudes of high division players and don’t plan on stopping the improvement. I strive to improve both my gameplay and my theory. Alongside this, every Sniper and Soldier I have played so far has only ever had glowing compliments after every game.
I’m looking for a team that shares my passion in the game and is above the toxicity BS. One that plans on working on the issues it has instead of players fighting amongst themselves. Put me on the roster, and I promise I won’t disappoint.

Holy shit alltrex is lft. Anyway throughout the preseason and the first 3 weeks of the season this man has been able to synchronize with flank very well. I’ve never had to worry about where sniper or enemy combo is with alltrex on my team. He understands where to position, when to stab, and how to play off his team. Sure his logs may not show it, but his impact is consistently worthy of a main spy.

Alltrex has incredible comms to the point where I consistently never had to worry where the enemy is or what they were planning on doing. He is very good with coordination plays and works off of flank and combo super well. PICK THIS MAN UP

banger guy to play with, gives great comms, values his life and always ready for plays and sacs. def pick up
-
Not only is Alltrex a player that has great comms and popoff potential, he’s also just a great teammate. Super supportive guy that is very open to feedback and wants to improve on the daily. One of the spies teams should be looking to bring onto the team for s15. Very worth

Great guy to talk to, has good comms, great game sense, and is all around a great player. 100% pick him up.
-
Great spy player - coordinates with the team, calls for sacs, always stays alive and gives your team valuable information about where sniper and combo are. Would be a great spy in main - he will make your team better with no questions.
Also a cracked heavy player too.

Alltrex is a wonderful player. When I’ve played with him, his calls and our coordination is nothing but ON POINT. It is definitely sad to see ESS go.

With spies being one of the abundant players in HL. Alltrex is one of the few players I can say with confidence who is a great spy. Unlike others who fail to understand the basics of the class. Not only does Alltrex know his role and goes far and beyond on what is asked of him. I’ve seen him many times in clutch moments save the game. He has good comms and would recommend giving him a tryout and you won’t regret it.

Alltrex had not touched tf2 before he started highlander. Coming from esea premier cs:go, he came into team fortress with an experienced competitive outlook. He knows what teams need to function at a high level: coordination, roles, but most importantly, discipline.
In lower divisions especially, a lot of players focus on what they want the game to be, and not what the game actually is. Pyros feed for damage and force themselves into ubers, “Pyro is an action class!”. Spies go for trickstabs and unimportant picks, “Look at this clip guys!”. Players like these often have great stats, and get caught in peoples memory.
But highlander is not about logs and clips, it’s about teamwork and doing your job. For a lot of people, proper play (often being passive and playing your life), is boring compared to more flashy/mechanical styles of play. Some people are just unable/ unwilling to adapt to what their team needs.
Alltrex is a valuable player because he never learned to care about mechanics or being flashy, he came into this game with a teamplay oriented mindset. He didn’t pick spy because of it’s interesting movement tech or trickstabs, he picked spy because that’s what his newcomer team was missing. In a similar vein, he didn’t learn to frag out and feed for picks, because his team needed calls and help coordinating. Alltrex has no notion of “what do i want my class to do?”, only the mindset of “what can my class do to benefit the team?”
Combine that mindset with a passion for the game, a desire to improve, and the ability to found a sense of community - you will not only have a strong spy, but an incredible asset to any team.
