      Features:

      • Fixed prop on ruins (both sides have the same hitbox now)
      • Fixed multiple hitboxes (Pillars on bath house, stairs to point)
      • Removed the sun that was giving 1 team a clear advantage
      • Merged all the small ammo packs into a medium pack instead
      • Better respawn cabinets (Closer to the door, for those without resup binds)

Before anyone asks, I don’t have the VMF anymore so I can’t actually edit anything, I just forgot I had this, so I might as well post it if anyone is interested. IMO this is basically just lakeside but without all the annoying shit.

    • How Events work.

      RGL Forum Events

On the RGL forums, Events can be created and added to our calendar by creating forum threads with the event embed. This allows us to have different ways for events to be organized and sorted while also allowing users to be able to comment on the events themselves through normal forum discussion.

Our events Also have built in sorting features that allow you to see the events organized by days, weeks, or months, and even look forward or backward in time to future or previous events.

Our events also include a confirmation system, which allows users to say if they are going to participate or not in a cast, and will even display the list of confirmed users. Users that confirm that they will be participating in an event will also receive an notification when an event begins.

      Event Format guidelines

      This section is under construction

All Events will be color coded to match the forum category they originate from. The “RGl Casts & Streams” is orange and the events from this forum will always appear orange to match it.

Events will also be named in a way so its easy to tell what it is. All events should start with the name of the organization casting it, the season number, the region, the format, followed by the match that is being casted.
Here are a few examples below:

      • RGL - s7 NA Highlander- Kids Next Door vs Man Crush Monday
      • RGL - s2 NA Trad. Sixes - Froyotech vs MyAnimelist
      • TeamfortressTV - s4 NA NR Sixes - Baconators vs Impossible Burgers
      • EssentialsTF - s9 NA Prolander - Froyotech vs The Mayo Band

The names of the format and teams should directly reflect how it appears on the RGL website. Here is a list of current RGL formats.

      • NA Highlander
      • NA Trad. Sixes
      • NA Prolander

The name of the forum posts should also reflect this, except the name of the organization is not needed due to it being already sorted.

      How to create an Event

The creation of Events are restricted to RGL and other casting organizations that are recognized and approved via the RGL global rulebook.

To create an event, you just need to create a new thread in your respective forum and click on the calendar icon. This will open a popup form that you will fill out which will create the event embed.

      alt text
      alt text

For the title of the event, please be sure to follow our event Guidelines as mentioned earlier.

Next you can set the dates and times for your events. Try to be as accurate as you can when determining the timeframe of your event, so it can appear properly on the calendar.

For the location, you can put the link to the cast.

For Information, you should describe your event. You should include any relevant information such as a the production staff, the casters themselves, or writeups as you feel necessary. This is the section you should use the most to your advantage. I would also encourage you to directly link to the casters forum profile using the ‘@’.

      Example: @Aad

Do not mark your event as mandatory!

Next you can set additional reminders for important events such as grand finals.

Next you can set the event to repeat, however we do not suggest you do this unless the event is exactly the same. This will also tie those future events discussion to this thread.

Here is what our event looks like after it is created:

    • Guide - How to ask Questions

Reminder that the Q&A Forums are apart of the Team Fortress 2 Category. All Questions must be related to TF2 or RGL.

In the Q&A forums, you are able to ask questions and have others help you by giving you the answer. But these forums come with additional features to help with that. You are able to turn your threads into a Q&A thread, which adds SOLVED and UNSOLVED to the title of the thread, which will help inform people if you still need help.

      alt text

You can turn any of your threads into a Q&A thread by clicking the drop down menu when you go to submit your thread. Make sure it has a check mark or it wont submit as a Q&A thread.

      alt textalt text

Another way you can turn any of your threads into a Q&A thread by going into your thread, and clicking on Topic Tools. This will open a drop down box that you can then click on Ask a Question. This will add functionality to your thread adding the prefixes for Solved and Unsolved.

      alt text

      alt text

Once someone answers your question, you can then mark that post as the answer, by clicking on the post dropdown menu, and selecting Mark as correct Answer. This will copy the post to the top of the thread, and change the thread prefix from unsolved to solved.

      alt text

      alt text

      alt text

Additionally, you can mark a thread as solved without selecting a post as an answer. by going back to the topic tools, you can select mark as solved, which will change the thread to solved without a specific answer.

      alt text

      alt text

If you make a mistake or someone else provides a better answer, you can revert the thread back to unsolved by going back to the topic tools, and click mark unsolved. this will removed the pinned answer and allow you select a different answer.

For Immediate Support Please Use the Discord #Support Channel

If you require immediate assistance, please head over to the Official RGL Discord and visit the #support Channel. There you can use the emote system to create a support ticket that will ping the relevant staff related to whomever you need to contact. Forum Threads are meant for general support that do not require quick responses.

[Format/Platform] - [Short Description of issue]

For example, if you need support for approving a player for your sixes team. your title should look like this:

      RGL Sixes - Player Approval

Here is a list of different RGL formats/platforms to include in your title:

      • RGL Sixes
      • RGL Prolander

      Username Change Requests

We do not allow username changes on the forums. Your forum username is pulled directly from the RGL website. To change your username, you need to create a site support ticket via the #support channel in the Official RGL discord

      Regarding Medals

Please refrain from making threads about medals. Due to the number of formats, cups, and seasons that RGL has run in the past, it takes time for everyone’s medals to be successfully delivered. Should you be missing a medal (this includes incorrect medals) for a season after medals have been distributed to everyone, please contact your division admin so they can confirm and send you the correct medal.

      Verification Requests

      What does being verified mean?

Being verified means you are a known player in our community and locked into your alias that is authentic. Most verified players are a long time or top-level player, community contributors, and/or RGL staff.

      How can I be verified?

Currently, users can only be verified by admins and we are only verifying players that meet the following criteria:

      • Participate In Invite for 3-seasons or more as a starting player, as well as in casted matches
      • Helped RGL in Administrative or Community Areas

If you wish to send in a request to get verified, please send in a site support ticket in the RGL Discord.

      Forum Group Requests

      RGL Forum Groups

The RGL forum allows community organizations and groups to be able to have their own groups. This allows these organizations to better represent themselves in a more official capacity. RGL Forum groups are heavily restricted and reviewed, so not every community organization may be allowed one. Here is a short list of benefits from having an RGL Forum group for your organization:

      • Dedicated group page URL (i.e.: https://forums.rgl.gg/groups/essentialstf)

      • Forum group page banner

      • Organized list of group members

      • Group Forum Badge

      • Ability to post threads in the Community Projects Forum

      RGL Forum Group Guidelines

To receive a forum group, you must meet our Forum Group guidelines. If your organization fails to meet any of these guidelines, your application will be denied. All organizations are responsible for their own members and actions, and must continue to meet all of these guidelines even after the application is accepted.

      • The organization must be established and active.

      • The organization must provide some form of service for the community.

      • Organizations and their members must have a positive community standing.

      • The organization’s members cannot have any active RGL bans and/or probations.

RGL Reserves the right to deny an application or withdraw privileges at any time and for any reason.

      RGL Forum Group Applications

To apply for a forum group, Organizations must submit an application via a Forum Support ticket via the official RGL discord. Applications through any other medium will not be accepted. In your application, please be sure to include any and all information about your organization (the more information the better). Here is a list of a few things you should include:

      • Organization Name
      • Organization URLS and Links (Discord, youtube, twitter, website, etc.)
      • Organization Leaders & Members (Please mark who is who, and what they do for your organization)
      • Information describing your organization and what it is that you do for the community.
      • Any current, previous, and future projects you may be working on.

After an application is received, we will then take the time to review your application and organization. This process may take a substantial amount of time varying from application to application.
