@Kawaiyi Once again, all actions on rgl platforms are subject to punishment. I think you are begging the league to protect you from people outside of the league. If you feel so deeply about that just distance yourself from those people. At some point this tf2 league will not be able to punish someone who says a slur and its just how it is.

@hedaeoh No thats not what im saying. Read above because clearly you didnt. I support RGL taking action for everything that has to do with non private discords and out of league communities. I clearly said everything I think above if you care.

@vibeisveryo I get what you are trying to say here but it seems you are missing the reality of this league. All volunteers, unpaid, and dealing with a large community. What you are proposing is tough in it of itself for the league to even handle. When I was working with Activision Support the same thing was in place. They had full time employees who were able to go through each report of harassment and deal with it thoroughly. I gave out hundreds of bans and it was a great system. However what you are proposing is just unreasonable and genuinely on the line of most people views. I would say most people want it to stay this way if you sent out a survey.

@vibeisveryo Case by case possibly. But still the same issue comes along which is where is the line? You can always block/remove yourself from the situation.

@vibeisveryo No I dont think it should. Harassment is much worse than hearing bad words from people. Im not sure what you define as harassment but any sort of doxing etc. is what I would say is justified for a report/punishment. Does that make sense? Like yeah words hurt. But in my opinion I wouldnt wanna see rgl stepping in for that. Pedophilia and stuff like that which is blatantly against the law. By all means step in.

@vibeisveryo There is a leave server and block button on discord. As far as harassment I think there is a line between what RGL should step in and shouldnt step in for.

@Kawaiyi RGL does a great job of stopping racism on THEIR platforms which I think everyone here supports mostly. But the simple fact is that its not even just racism why people dont want RGL taking action over outside actions. Its about privacy. Once again, that is a waste of time, money, and manpower for the league. We dont need league staff going around investigating what is going on with private discords. It’s just ridiculous. You have zero control of what anyone says outside of the league and that is how it should be. You are wanting RGL to take more control of its community and frankly that is a stupid idea.

@Kawaiyi No, you shouldnt. The things I do with MY friends should be of no interest to RGL or anyone here. It isnt the leagues job to send a investigation of something that happened off of an RGL platform. That is a waste of time, money, and manpower. Ridiculous you even suggested that.
