Sniper shouldn’t have the option to negate flames in the first place. That’s what makes the Darwin’s strong vs pyro because it shouldn’t exist in the first place. Banning all secondaries wouldn’t balanced sniper but it would at least help somewhat with nerfing the class.

Advanced being RR gets teams and players ready to move up to invite and it gets main teams ready to play at a high level. It’s really a no brainer.

@vibeisveryo why would have two divisions for the same pool of players. If you high main now and advanced becomes RR you are now mid main in theory. Just because you are a certain level in name only it doesn’t change the reality. Bad players will complain regardless in the decision, so just do it and get it over with.

If there is 16 teams then it should be a easy fix of adding two RR divisions. Plus all the ground work is already present. There should no reason why the second highest division should be Swiss.

He also failed to notice that platinum was all in favor for RR after s20 + but ugc didn’t care. One of the reasons why AD moved to rgl s1 was because it was RR from the get go.

@vibeisveryo it’s also main where you at the middle of the pack of skill. It would make sense for a team to be above average to win it and move up.

@Xenagos there you go I thought it was posible before which why I never brought it up, but i guess you can argue what teams that cap a pl map last one half and another they don’t reach it. So far it’s the only way we came koth rounds and pl count the exact same.

How counting koth half the same as a player half doesn’t matter if it’s 2-1 or 2-0 first team that gets the 2 on the scoreboard gets the half. So that way you can 3 koth halfs like it is on pl. I do believe there is a potential of having a team lose the game while getting more “rounds”
And the potential of playing 9 rounds of koth which personally I don’t mind. I always hated how koth was shorter than pl in a close game.

@Inquisition I don’t remember suggesting such thing. The only way you get points is on a win it’s been that way since s1 of ugc.

The high ping don’t make snipers like mujet good, they are good because they are good and they hit their shots regardless . Complaining about ping when there is obvious trades off is negligible.

It’s very difficult and delicate balance to manage in a team setting where teammates play styles can enhance or hinder your own performance.
Would you restrict a beast player that’s playing on the worst team. That teams isn’t going to make waves anyways so it would be mute point to proceed.
What if you have a player that reach grand finals in a division and it’s obvious they are not at that level. Would you restrict them because they got carried the season after?
