@Rendoas Apologies. I confused the bug you were speaking about with another bug, which was patched in f5a. As jackylegs mentioned, the locker being non-solid is now patched in f5b.

Div-1 and Advanced are special cases for sandbagging restrictions, as they are the divisions below Invite, which is at the top and has a fixed size. In an ideal world, the restrictions here would be much lighter as Invite will be filled with the best players and those who play in the division below were unable to make Invite that season. However, the restrictions can also be much heavier. For example, in Div-1 and Advanced 6s, if Invite only has 6 teams out of an 8-10 team capacity, heavier restrictions will be applied to Div-1 and Advanced.
In RGL 6s anyway, Invite has been the healthiest that it has ever been because there are often 2-4+ teams trying to qualify for a spot in Invite. It’s also relevant that a lot of old faces are returning in 6s, and LAN is coming back so a lot more players want a chance to compete at LAN. As a result, the 6s admin team is being laxer with restrictions to accommodate for the number of players that quite simply won’t make the Invite cut.
The HL team can also apply these more lenient guidelines here assuming Invite is healthy.
I’ll be attending. Been missing LAN ever since Rewind.
@Alto Regarding pushing the limited time edition angles, I do not believe this was communicated very well. I definitely think that this should be telegraphed more clearly in the upcoming seasons when the GFX team updates the store. That being said, I would not rule out the idea of the limited time designs returning again in the future, and there would be clear communication when that happens.
Tune in TUESDAY, the 14th @ 11PM ET for the conclusion of the Invite 6s Season 7 playoffs!
Witness Gaming (13-1) will take on Froyotech (12.5-1) in a match you definitely do not want to miss.
These teams met twice in the regular season, handing each other their own losses of the regular season. Froyotech was able to grab the map advantage for the Grand Finals, by winning a tight game in the Upper Bracket Finals.
Now, Witness Gaming, the reigning champions, are looking to defend their title and hand Froyotech another defeat in the Grand Finals. Will they be able to repeat or will Froyotech take back their spot on the throne?
Find out this Tuesday @ 11pm Eastern.

Past articles: RGL LAN Update #1 (7/5/2021)
In this article, we would like to start discussing and communicating an early roadmap to the community for resuming RGL LAN. It should be noted that we have been in ongoing communication with Helix Esports, who is just as eager as we are to host our event, and we still hold our initial deposit. Here are important developments that we would like to share:
- New Venue - Helix Esports Patriot Place
Working with Helix Esports, we have plans to switch to a different venue from the original North Bergen, New Jersey location. The Patriot Place location is located in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Important considerations for making this change included the additions of the main stage, access to any rental computers for teams and staff (rental fees will be covered), streaming equipment/setup, stage setup, and bleachers for spectators. While the cost of the new location is more expensive than the previous location, we have plans to offset the costs through revenue splits with the venue, RGL merch sales, and small league LAN sustainability fees (we will provide updates on this in a future article). Lastly, the new location is also in a more friendly location with many stores and activities to do around the venue.
- RGL LAN for Invite 6s Playoffs in 2022
We do not yet have an exact date of this event, but after the Invite team leader meeting where we discussed a timeline that would be the most appropriate for this, leaders were strongly in favor of the LAN being scheduled during the summer of 2022. As such, we will aim to have the event held during the summer, as it would not conflict with school and other LAN events that players may have during the spring.

Each season, it may not be too uncommon for the RGL admin team to lose at least one or two admins each season. Common factors for this often include real-life obligations, being demotivated to continue admin work. or not having the necessary time to commit to volunteer work anymore. This can be a growing issue when the turnover rate is high, which means that a considerable amount of time during the offseason is spent recruiting and training new admins over other preseason work.
In RGL 6s Season 4, which started on September 14th, 2020, none of the league admins or moderators on the list are actively serving admins anymore. This effectively means that in a year, the admin team for 6s has completely turned over to the new admin team that we see today.
In the example with RGL Highlander Season 6, which started on June 15th, 2020, only WiLLmaTiC and Powerpuker are the remaining serving Highlander admins from this list.
While many reasons may lead to our volunteer admins opting to retire, we hope to add incentives to the staffing team to better help with retention rates. While this is not an absolute fix, the idea is to incentivize admins that continue to volunteer and contribute after each season.
- Admin for 1 season. 6s league fees will be waived for each consecutive season after.
- Admin for 4 consecutive seasons (for active staff). Choose one free RGL merch of your choice after this duration.
There are also other solutions that we are looking into such as automating repetitive admin work and modifying rules to require less admin intervention that can assist in reducing admin workload (increasing the efficiency of demo requests, adjusting rules to not need an admin to be making the final decision, etc.) – and effectively the burned-out feeling that volunteer admins may feel after being in our organization for an extended time. Being an admin is often considered a thankless job, so showing your appreciation and thanks to any one of our active admins can go a long way in helping to recognize the work that they do.
[1008.5] - POV and STV Demos has been updated to clarify how long POV demos must be kept for RGL seasons and cups. For example, in a traditional RGL 6s season, players are expected to keep and have access to their demos for three months after the last playoff match of the format (from all participants) has been played.
[1007.2.3] - Medals has been updated to clarify the earliest that medals will be delivered for a season.
[1002.4.11] - Team Mutiny has been updated to clarify that team mutinies are based on the number of rostered players for a team and that no distinction is made for starters/substitutes.
[1009.4.2] - Default Ringers is not adding anything new, but is clarifying that default ringers may be denied if the opposing team believes the ringer is greatly better than the person they are replacing.
[1003.3] - Game Exploits has been updated to clarify that teams should inform one another if they unfairly gained uber from pause and also repause the match. This section has also been updated to include two options on how teams can resolve the exploit, should team(s) receive uber illegitimately.
[1002.2] - Harassment / Flaming / In-Game Toxicity has been updated to be clearer on areas where circumventing a player’s block with malintent could be considered as harassment.
[1010.1.1] - Tardiness has been updated to be clearer on when team penalties may be administered for tardiness for a casted match.
[1010.2.1] - Match Server has been updated to add that casted matches which are facing persistent disruptive issues (e.g. DDoS, lag, wrong configurations, etc.), the match will be required to play on a server provided by RGLgg.

Didn’t see this in the patch notes posted on tf2 maps
I really don’t understand how this is possible but talking to Jacob about this bug it has apparently happened to others before on the map
idk if it has something to do with the pit death prior as when he respawns it states in the kill feed that he dies to a “clumsy painful death” rather than “bid farewell cruel world” if you were to kill bind
def something to look into in the refresh if its possible to fix
“Removed the overlapping kill triggers on the pipes in the pit on E which should hopefully remove the spawn kill bug. If you still encounter this bug please let me know and provide a demo with tick so I can look into it further”
“Merged all kill triggers into one in the bottom of the pit on E (hopefully this will prevent all future spawn deaths, please contact me or leave a post if you still experience this bug on F6)”
The RGL Anti-Cheat team is looking for new members that are interested in working to better help the league be free from cheating.
As an anti-cheat admin, you are responsible for preventing and punishing cheaters that play in our league. You will utilize tools and methods to detect the usage of cheats, review and analyze demos, log alternative accounts, request demos of suspected cheaters, lead investigative work to find evidence and connections in cases, and more.
- Have a credible and trustworthy track record
- Multiple seasons/years of competitive experience(preference to those at a high level).
- Ability to be impartial and honest with your judgment, and recuse yourself during cases that compromise your impartiality.
- Ability to handle cases discreetly and keep the evidence as well the decision-making process confidential.
- Have ample time to dedicate to thoroughly process and log individual cases and their respective evidence.
If interested, you can apply here through our forms. If selected, you will receive a follow-up where you will enter a trial stage.
Apply here - https://forms.gle/kcnxoU85CMpX3wZH9
If you are interested in other open RGL staff positions besides Anti-Cheat, feel free to apply using the same form.
Recently, there have been issues with the pause plugin which allowed teams to build ubercharge during pauses. This is due to an issue with Serveme rental servers, as they are running an outdated version of the pause plugin on certain servers.
If you are operating a server with the RGL Plugin, then your server should have the latest version of the pause plugin (“Improved Pause Command” (1.4.2)” and do not have to worry about this potential exploit being an issue during your matches.
NOTE: If the pause uber exploit does happen in a match, teams are expected to inform one another if they unfairly gained uber from the pause. Failure to do so may result in a minor penalty. As always, using an illegally gained uber before it would have been naturally obtained will result in team penalties and potentially replayed/overturned rounds or maps.
With the Scream Fortress TF2 update, a cosmetic called the “Corpse Carrier” was introduced.
Due to the cosmetic causing issues with many player configs as well as potentially introducing a gameplay advantage, the cosmetic will be banned from the RGL whitelists for the time being.
If your server is using the RGL plugin updater, the whitelist will be updated once a config is executed.
You can also find the latest version of the RGL whitelists here:
Short end statement: If you or anyone want to help actively change things sign up to be a part of staff. I can’t vouch anything will come of it. I heard from prior staff that they just couldn’t change things in their time there. What else to do though? Who knows and at this point how many people care? That’s a sign of failure- unless I’m alone with those thoughts.
For RGL, it’s an entirely volunteer-run league by players who apply to help out and want to improve the league. Plenty of recent and past admins have joined the staff team because they disliked how the league was running or even the way how admins were running things were not up-to-par with what they wanted from the league. Being an admin does require putting in the full effort to contribute to changes for the better.
On a separate note, the turnover rate for admining is extremely high. On average, both 6s and HL lose about two or three admins/mods each season, which is due to a combination of factors such as real-life obligations, being burnt out from the workload or community, etc. It can be difficult to find recruits that like admin work and want to be active. I certainly recommend players to apply for an admin position when this opens up during the offseason.
So to be exact, if 2 of our players surpass 150ms they abide by the Region rule and are ok to play? While counting that players in a team that (regardless of region) have less than 150ms do not abide by this rule?
The rule is the same as it was when it was introduced earlier this year. As long as the players rostered abide by these restrictions, then they are allowed to play.
