the problem is that when people sign up to play competitive tf2, they arent signing up to be spied on. you would arguably drive away more players by having people be constantly monitored by league admins than by just letting the small subset of toxic players be toxic. you also empower said toxic people by making them feel victimized, as a result only making the problem worse because people will see overreach and become sympathetic to those players. also some people just think shit like that is funny, you may disagree, and you have perfectly good reason to do so, its just how some people are.
you then run into the problem of people taking screenshots and sending them to admins out of context, and this turning into a weapon to take out players you dont like.
got a match against a team with a crazy sniper next week? well lucky for you, he just made a joke in extremely poor taste in a discord with him and 2 close friends that you happened to be lurking in, now you have a free win!
it would be too much to deal with for an admin team that is already volunteer to begin with, so then there is more time spent dealing with trying to figure out if a discord screenshot is edited or fake than time trying to find what player is cheating or trying to help a new team leader figure out what the fuck theyโre doing.
its a waste of effort and resources to police this kind of thing, its not like these people are playing for a brand for the most part, the reason big players in other eSports are harshly criticized is because there is a lot of money behind them, that is very much not the case with tf2.
tl;dr policing private shit makes toxic people more sympathetic to some people, spreads toxicity, too much shit for admin team to deal with
@Ampy there is an extremely large difference between grooming literal children and saying a slur, one has actual long term psychological harm and can ruin someones entire life, and its also a felony punishable by prison time, while the other makes you upset when you read it
this is the definition of a false equivalence
whats good boys, its the im powerhouse himself
ive been subbing for the last couple seasons after playing with thunderstorm s8 for 4 weeks until they tried to replace me with a brazilian
im looking for a team without a braindead combo in specific
i formerly had some issues with the mental, but after watching hours of saturation twitch vods i got that shit mostly figured out
imma probably be playing 6s as well so im cool with subbing to be completely honest, but if you put me on main ill try my best for your team

brazil player will frag, its in the water or some shit idk
@Xenagos free speech is by definition the ability to say what you want and not face consequences, the only exception being something to incite violence or a crowd (i.e. screaming โfire!โ in a crowded room) if you say some fucked shit and someone on the street beats the fuck outta you, thats your fault, but its the ability to not be punished by an institution
yeah heโs good but is it a man who likes a bubble, or a bubble in the shape of a man
RGL deals with cases that occur in RGL sanctioned discords, servers, and scrims/matches, because it is their right to do so since its their service, RGL does not however own discord as a whole nor anyones private steam messages etc, its not their place to be regulating private areas

looking at the logs, this guy probably deserves a shot, i would however recommend you get a mentor seeing as this is your first time playing comp, or dont, im not your mother.
@TheSovietOneYouHate people crouch to make themselves smaller on a number of points without the glitch in mind, also for the most part its not really that annoying once you learn to rotate properly and know what fights to take and what not to take.
also im sure some people arent even aware that theyre doing it, theyre just trying to hide around a wall. its a part of the game, its not that bad once you take 4 steps to the left or just shoot someone else.
also there are things way more annoying than aeon peeks on sniper.
pro tip, shoot them in the high shoulder and you might clip their head hitbox, otherwise just peek another angle
this would be super hard to enforce so i dont see it changing
