Is there an option to hide or ignore posts and categories of posts? Tools like “recent” are largely unusable for me because of how many LFT or LFP posts there are burying other topics.
To clarify - would an exclusive filter system (ignore category) be possible, or could filtered settings be saved?

Bottom right of each forum and sub forum. Keep in mind that you need to set each forum that receives posts to “not watching”. setting LFT won’t block posts from HL LFT or 6s LFT.

Apologies for the week long down time, for this major update we were working on moving hosts and resolving a lot of the issues that were piling up from the previous setup. However everything has been resolved and we should be all good to go. But anyways, lets move on the patch notes for this major update.
- Reorganization and Theming
- We have reverted to the default nodebb theme due to upkeep and other issues involved with the theme we were using.
- We have removed the side bar and now everything is either in the header or footer. Also removed any extra useless items.
- Removed online users. Instead, you can see what users are browsing what topics on the topics themselves.
- Re-structured the forum sections.
- News
- The news feature will display any news topics in its own page. You can view this via the nav bar which will take you to /news . This is for RGL news and TF2 Blog post news.
- News head roll. This will display the latest 4 news posts that are also featured in /news
- TF2 Blog forum. This forum will automatically post any TF2 news or updates which are also featured in the previously mentioned news sections.
- Posting
- We have added Tenor to the forums, so when you go to create a post/comment, you can click the GIF icon to search Tenor for images to include in your posts.
- A Fuckton of Bug fixing (Thanks to @Aad )
- Have caught up on 2 years worth of forum updates.
As always, if you noticed any issues or bugs. Be sure to post them here or DM me on discord if you are not able to post.

Reminder that you can use the skins features in your settings to change the look of the forums away from the default.

Mothership On the slate theme, the composition box isnt the right color (or maybe it is and its a weird theme), and none of the tags on any post have color.
personally on a web design standpoint i really hate everything being stacked, with all the deadspace on either side. The main page looks squished, and it feels really clunky overall. I would also like an option to divide posts by at least a single small horizontal line for easier reading.ALSO PLEASE GIVE ME A BUTTON TO VIEW ALL POSTS ON MY PROFILE IM BEGGING YOU MAN
just my two cents

@cayorne Slate is also like that for me, which would most likely mean that it is a weird skin.
In regards to the tags, the colors did not transfer over during the move for some strange reason, and will be slowly added back over the course of the week. It is just such a tedious process that would of unnecessarily exasperated the re-launch that it was not worth it to try and get it done beforehand.
As far as your posts on your profile, did you try the three dotted button?
One of the major issues that was plaguing us previously, was the fact the theme we were using was not well maintained, and we had to spend a fuck-ton of time customizing it to function with all our plugins, code, dark mode, etc. This was honestly what most of the work we did previously. This also contributed to the forums being almost two years out of date since we could not update the theme without losing all that work, and we could not update the forum software without updating the theme.
While I 100% agree that the default theme with our forum software is not the best, it does however work 100% with every function and feature without having to do a ton of css/html work. And at this stage of forum development, we are not able to justify the amount of work we put in previously to make things as perfect as we would of liked it. So for now, we are going to stick with the default theme and skins until such time that we are able to get a developer that is willing to put in the time and effort needed to write us a forum theme from scratch and support it through all the very frequent forum updates.

If you try to link a twitch clip it does not work no matter what. It instantly tries to embed, you can’t even use the link option.

Niko Jims I went ahead and deleted the embed rule. I am not sure why it stopped working at whatever point, assuming it ever worked at all.
