Changing how we rate admins in surveys
-
Survey after survey we get the same question regarding div admins
-
1: How would you rate your experiences with RGL division admins
-
2: How easy was it for you to get in contact with your division admin(s)?
-
3: Did you feel that your division admin generally made reasonable decisions?
How about instead of a general question to hit all admins we rate admins individually with the same amount of questions. Make it like a course evaluation. It doesn’t have to be a separate survey, just space it out. Don’t make the questions mandatory so the people who don’t care can skip it and the people who do have something to say (positive or negative) can say it through an official medium.
So now we’d have something like
-
1: How would you rate your experiences with [RGL Admin #1]?
-
2: How easy was it for you to get in contact with [RGL Admin #1]?
-
3: Did you feel that [RGL Admin #1] generally made reasonable decisions?
-
4: Do you have anything else to say regarding [RGL Admin #1]?
and so on and so forth for each admin/div moderator of that season.
Thoughts? Critiques? Concerns? Any discussion is good discussion.

man i do not want to click through 999 “i did not talk to this admin” answers just to submit feedback on one or two
also this enables bad actors to witchhunt admins they dislike on a personal level as opposed to an “administrative capability” level
i think you are right in that we should have more power in reviewing admins as players and not just allowing rgl (the admins) to review each other but this issue should be handled with care or else it will not be solved!

rgl surveys can have the questions be optional so you would only have to skip through pages as opposed to marking every question. Alternatively, you can separate the surveys into 1 for specifically gamemode related questions and 1 for staff-related questions.
People are going to witch hunt/relentlessly shit on staff members on tftv or in private discords anyway. At least if they do it on a survey then rgl will actually look at it and be able to look into if it is witch-hunting or actual concerns.

I have no idea how janky the RGL site is coded up, but if it was possible to only send questions about admins to players who played in those divisions would be best rather than couple pages with a list for every admin. A newcomer shouldn’t really need to be answering questions about the adv admins

@Pain-Seer RGL surveys can be filtered to have results shown from only specific divisions. I don’t believe the surveys themselves can be made division specific (although it might be possible) but filtering results is definitely something that can be done.
One point I will make is that a newcomer player can definitely have a bad experience with an admin of a higher division and should be able to share it through an rgl source. Div admins are responsible for their division, yes, but they are also responsible for their actions with the entire RGL playerbase.
